CRITERIA FOR ACCEPTANCE

This discipleship program exists to help those men who have a desire
to make the transition from incarceration back into the community as a transformed
and productive citizen. Bethel Ministries guides and helps men make such positive
changes which are necessary. We provide monitored housing in a structured
Christian family setting and assist in finding personal mentors, a church and
employment. Through mandatory programs, a variety of classes and supportive
Christian fellowship, we assist in strengthening ones practical as well as spiritual walk.
One must bring total honesty and a  commitment to change to the program and accept
personal responsibility. Bethel believes that it is only through the power of God
and faith in Christ Jesus can any person receive the strength to habitually overcome sin
and the weaknesses of the flesh. Therefore, it is Bethel's hope that all residents
will be drawn by God into a relationship with Him and accept Jesus as Lord and
Savior during their tenure with Bethel.
