Bethel Ministries, is doing that "something". Bethel Ministries
literally puts the faith in "Faith Based" as in a ministry. It seems as
God would have it no other way! And we know it is He who keeps
Bethel's doors open. For miracle after miracle and month after
month Bethel Ministries overcomes its financial limitations and
outlook. It is evident that God wants the program to continue. Yet
so much more could be and needs to be done. As a faith based
program, founded in the year 2000, Bethel has one mission: to
plant seeds for future positive growth and development in men
through discipling those men who want to change their lives, to
experience and know the love of Christ and put Christ's leadership
examples into practice with our help. Bethel's program is an
ongoing learning experience. Through much trial and some error
the ministry grows. We do not claim to change mens hearts. We
are imperfect people believing in the power of Jesus Christ to
change mens hearts, who in faith voluntarily submit our lives in
earnest for Christ to serve through, thereby glorifying Christ who
does the changing.
With your help, a shoestring and many prayers, we provide
transitional Christian homes designed to aid in the positive
transformation of ex-offenders in Boise Idaho!.And also raise the
publics' awareness to the timely needs and successes of
rehabilitative efforts such as that which Bethel Ministries provides.
Working together as a community with your many contributions,
we facilitate and administer the one on one efforts necessary to
bring lasting life-altering change to ex-offenders before they
re-enter society. We believe that the most desirable lasting
change comes through the help and guidance of Jesus Christ.
Bethel Ministries helps those individuals who are in the midst of a
life altering cross-road. Where these men find themselves
between leaving prison confinement and free society. Bethel is for
men who must be committed to overcoming their past problems
and crimes which landed them in jail such as with drugs,
alcoholism, sex, abusiveness, homelessness, which go hand and
hand with a total loss of balanced control, discipline, and purpose
in their life.
With God's help and direction Bethel Ministries is making it
possible for men who are paroling out of prison to have the proper
environment and learning experience during that vital transitional
period. The required program commitment is 6 months. All
residents are supported toward growth and faith through, Jesus
Christ and the Gospel. When Christ sets one free, he is truly
FREE indeed. John 8:36 One's slate CAN be wiped clean, and a
fresh start can be accomplished and maintained.
We ease the transition from life behind bars to
a life of freedom with safe boundaries, not only for the men we
serve, but also our community, by providing a much needed and
valuable humanitarian service to our communities future. And you
can be a part of that! Not everyone is equipped to handle the one
on one, day to day operations, responsibilities and activities
required to lead and communicate with these men. However you
can do many other things. By working together as our community
supporters along with community leaders and state and federal
authorities, much can be accomplished.
Communities in which we have facilities like
Bethel Ministries, have a better future in store for their families
and are consequently are overall much safer because of the
resultant higher concentration of monitoring in the area with
regular local police and frequent surprise visits from authorities
and Parole Officers. Not to mention the strict house schedules,
curfews and homes 24/7 live-in coordinators, house leaders and
monitors.

a valuable contribution and service to your community and would
somehow like to contribute to this specialized transitional ministry
